We are bunch of smart kids who think they need to get smarter. We are mostly in our teens and early 20s, though some of us were so in the 1970s & 1980s. Well, in order to get smarter, we engage in literary, cultural, sports, & social service activities.

We argue, we spar, we sing and we patronize. We meet every Sunday to have serious Debates, Quizzes, Mock Press Conferences etc. Or enjoy a few rounds of Dumb Charades or Anthakshari. Once in a while, we engage in sports, do some voluntary work to help sections of the society that are in need of that. Or, otherwise conduct a significant event that brings together people across all walks of life through a Festival, a Health Camp and so on.

YUVTAL has been an endeavor of Benjamin Franklin Memorial Club to bring together the brightest quizzers, the eloquent speakers, the thinkers, the dreamers, the crooners, the foot loose at one stage to showcase their talents.

It is a celebration of youth for at least one weekend preceded by an iconic Inaugural Event and culminated by a classic Valedictory studded by the presence of the Governer, High Court Judges, Test Cricketers, Film Actors and Directors.

Events like Biographer, Declamation, the all energy consuming marathon of oratory skills called the Orathon are the hallmark of YUVTAL. Cultural Events which encompass Classical Singing, Light Music, Dance among so many events enchant the participants like they were following a pied piper. Our recent foray into sports makes it a one-of-a-kind all-round festival of competitions.

With Sports, Cultural, Literary and Creative Events, held over 3 weekends in a span of 7 weeks, YuvTal 2018 was the grandest of them all!

Commemorating 50 years of our club's existence, a grand reunion was held at the sprawling campus of Aalankrita, a 4-star resort, in Hyderabad.

A weekend event, the reunion brought together members of the Benjamin Franklin Memorial Club from around the globe, to relive their golden moments as young students at the club.
